Man oh man I cannot believe it has already been a year since our little Angels came into this world! This has been one amazing year!
We had lots of visitors this month. We had Unlce Aya visiting from California, Grandma Bear and Grandpa visiting from Reno and Uncle Roger, Aunt Christy and GREAT GRANDMA RENO stopping through on their annual RV trip!! It was cool to see everyone almost exactly one year after the last visit. SO MUCH HAS CHANGED!!!
Addyson and Kaydence are both walking and talking and being as cute as can be! We had their first birthday party on the 18th and it was lots of fun! Both of the girls dug into their birthday cakes as if they had never eaten a meal in their life. IT WAS HILARIOUS. And I was worried they wouldn't touch it.....definitely not the case.
Kaydence is definitely a talker. She tries to immmitate every word and sound you make. I swear sometimes it sounds like she is making complete sentences. The words she is actually saying now are Hi, Bye, Up, Yes, Mom, Dad and her favorite Ugh Oh. She makes roar sounds which she thinks sounds like a dog, and Uncle Aya taught her to make a sound...you know the noise you can make if you pop your finger out of your mouth? Well anyway she sticks her finger in her mouth and pulls it out and makes a pucker noise and then she claps for herslef. Its soo cute! She holds 1 finger up when I say Kaydence how many are you...1, and she is still really only recognizing Nose, but we are working on mouth, eyes and nose. Everytime somebody sings a song or says yay she says yay, and claps her hands. She is definitely her own cheerleader! She blows kisses bye bye to Daddy in the morning and gives kisses by making the kissing noise. I'm sure I am leaving a ton out but this pretty much sums it up!
Addyson is our fiesty little girl. She always beats Kaydence when they race down the stairs and she pretty much climbs, jumps, & slides down whatever she can whenever she can. She is definitely a daddy's girl. She is the first to greet Daddy when he gets home and the last to say goodbye when he leaves. She loves giving kisses and even makes the pucker sound while giving you a kiss. Now every time she says bye bye she waves and then blows a kiss. She is a little jibber jabberer as well. She talks and talks and talks. She says hi, bye, mom, dad,yes, when she wants up she just says..ehhh, ehhhh , ehhh louder and louder until you pick her up, and she shakes her no when she doesnt want to do something! She points to your nose when you ask her where your nose is and she is starting to figure out eyes. She also knows to hold up one finger when you say 1, and she points at everything! It even sounds like she says what, like she is asking you "what is that"? She likes to take everything out of the cupboard and then put it all back. in a different way. She is kicking the ball around the house insead of just throwing it, and she thinks its the funniest thing ever. This girl can laugh. Once she gets going she cant stop and she has the deepest belly laugh ever. I think that about sums where Addyson is at right now!
I will try and update more often so my posts dont go on and on!!
We have survived the first year with all fingers & toes still in tact and amazingly Jeremy and I haven't bitten eachothers heads off!!!! We have definitely been blessed with these little girls. They have been so awesome and we couldnt have asked for more!!!
